Tasty Campfire Rice

1 cup white rice and 2 cups water OR 1 cup brown rice and 2 1/2 cups water

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon garlic salt

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1/8 teaspoon turmeric

1/8 teaspoon basil

add-ins such as vegetables, pimientos, or fresh herbs*

Cover and cook about 20 to 30 minutes until rice is tender and has absorbed all of the water. Fluff with a fork and serve warm. This also makes delicious fried rice if you have any leftovers!
